Today, let us look at how you can be rich towards God. True wisdom is seen in your decisions and choices.<\/p>\n<p>Now, what is the meaning of being rich towards God that Jesus was talking of in Luke 12:19? &#8211; \u201cAnd I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.\u201d Instead of saying to \u2018my soul\u2019, put \u2018my God\u2019. What a difference it would have made when he had this bountiful harvest if he said, \u201cI will say to my God, what do you want me to do with this?\u201d There is a difference.<\/p>\n<p>How do you know you are not rich towards God? \u2013 You have no understanding of God&#8217;s purpose and plans. Every time people walk against and out of divine purpose, God called them children. He told the disciples to go and wait for Him somewhere and when He found them, Peter said, \u201cI go a-fishing\u201d. And they caught nothing. He said, \u201cChildren\u2026\u201d (John 21:1-5). Every time Jesus called them children, they were outside His purpose.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Being rich towards God means that you always seek God to understand the purpose of wealth in your custody and channel it in that direction as He instructs you. When you step into this dimension properly, then you move into that zone of blessing where you are \u2018blessed to be a blessing\u2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-simple\">\n<p><strong>PRI\u00c8RE:<\/strong> Dear Father, thank you for the truth you have shared with me today; I repent of every selfish act towards you and I make a decision from today to be rich towards you.
