As emphasized earlier, it’s crucial to grasp that God didn’t intend for you to lead yourself.
No matter how intelligent you are, you can’t direct yourself, but the devil is always in the business of making you believe that you can direct yourself. He knows that if you take the direction of your life from the hands of God, you’re a cheap prey for him to deal with.
Learning to follow the Holy Ghost will lead you to a place of honour and dignity in this world.
It will lead you to the thing that God has reserved and prepared for you. Don’t be a peripheral Christian. You must master how to live by faith and how to be led by the Spirit. If you can master these two, you will be able to get through every other issue in life. If you know how to be led by the Holy Spirit, you will know who you should or should not marry, where to work, what kind of work, what kind of investment to get involved in, when to travel, and when not to travel.
Every one of us should start seeking the One who can direct us. It’s amazing how Christians, even though they go to church, don’t even listen to the Holy Spirit when making key decisions in life. God said it’s not in us to direct ourselves or direct our steps. Regardless of how many mistakes you have made in the past, to know the next step you need to take, find out from God.
