God knows how to make room for the calling He has put on you if you will listen for His voice to know what He wants to do through you. You need to know what God wants to do with you, not just for you. The devil has successfully stopped a lot of people today because God is not interested in what they are presenting to Him. Some of the greatest testimonies I’ve heard involved people who found out that God performed at His best for them when they were at their worst. God’s power is always strongest when and where we are at our weakest.
This way, no flesh will glory in His presence. No one can share the honour that belongs to God.
It will be clear that it was God when God’s power takes over at the end of man’s power.
1 Corinthians 1:27
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.
God chose Moses, a stammerer, to deliver Israel; He chose David, a shepherd boy, to win against giant Goliath in a battle; He chose the most despised city of Nazareth to be identified with the Messiah. This is God’s pattern. The lower life is filled with proud people who believe in their strengths and abilities. However, the higher life belongs to people, who release themselves to be taken over by God to show Himself through them. Renounce ownership of your life now and come for the higher life that God wants to give you.
PRAYER: Father, I trust Your strength to show forth in my weakness. I depend on You and give the glory to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
