26 August 2025: THE POWER OF SAYING YOUR FAITH – Mark 11:23-25, Romans 10:10-12

In Mark 11:23, Jesus used the word “believe” once and the word “say” three times. That’s not a coincidence—it’s a divine emphasis. It means for every one time you believe, you must say it at least three times. That’s how powerful your words are. Believing in your heart is the starting point but saying it with your mouth is how you activate and sustain your faith. It was not enough for the woman with the issue of blood to believe; she kept saying to herself, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” And when she acted on what she kept saying, power flowed, and she received her healing.

Words are the vehicle that carry your faith to its destination. Without words, faith has no expression and no passage to travel. Blind Bartimaeus shouted, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me!” He kept shouting, even when people told him to keep quiet. His words caught Jesus’ attention. If he had listened to the crowd and shut his mouth, he would have missed his moment. That’s how many people lose out—they say it once, then keep quiet or allow people’s opinions to shut them down.

You must keep saying it. Say what the Word says until it becomes your reality.

Don’t be silent with your faith. Don’t let embarrassment shut your mouth. If you must declare it aloud in the market, say it. In the bus, say it. Your words are faith’s instrument of release. Don’t keep quiet and expect a miracle. It is not enough to dwell in the secret place; you must also say, “The Lord is my refuge and my fortress.” (Psalm 91:2). What you say is what He becomes to you. Let your mouth be the outlet of what your heart believes. Keep your confession alive and consistent. Heaven is waiting for the sound of your faith.

THOUGHT TO PONDER: Are you saying what you believe, or are you just hoping in silence? What declarations of faith have you allowed to go quiet that need to be revived again?

I speak my faith aloud with boldness. Lord, I declare Your Word continually over my life in Jesus’ name.
