Faith is the essential ingredient for a life that pleases the Father. Hebrews 11:5–6 reminds us that without faith it is impossible to please God, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Romans 4:20–21 highlights how Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Faith is not merely believing that God exists; it is trusting Him enough to obey, to endure, and to rejoice, even when nothing yet seems to have changed.
Beloved, your daily walk of faith is precious before the Father. Every time you trust His Word over your feelings, every time you obey His instructions against the odds, you are bringing Him pleasure. Faith honours God because it declares, “You are trustworthy!” and “Your Word is enough for me!” Divine approval is not reserved for those who perform the greatest feats but for those who simply take God at His Word and walk in obedience.
Faith is the foundation of every act that pleases God, and it is the pathway into the deeper rewards of divine approval.
I want you to learn that faith is not optional for the believer who seeks to grow beyond acceptance. You must cultivate a lifestyle of trusting God completely — not only when you understand, but especially when you don’t. As you journey through this month, let your heart be strengthened to believe, to hope against hope, and to walk in joyful obedience. Faith is not just for receiving from God; it is for living a life that brings consistent pleasure to His heart.
THOUGHT TO PONDER: Is your daily life marked by strong, unwavering faith in God’s Word and promises? How can you deepen your trust in the Father and live more fully by faith each day?
PRAYER: Dear Father, strengthen my heart to live by faith and not by sight. Teach me to trust You completely, to obey You wholeheartedly, and to rejoice in Your promises even before they manifest. Let my faith bring You pleasure daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
