Today, I want to share with you one of the major anchors for your Christianity:
“JESUS BRINGS US INTO SONSHIP, THE HOLY GHOST BRINGS US INTO THE MANIFESTATION OF SONSHIP.”
Outside Jesus, you are a creature of God but you are not a son of God; when you make Jesus your saviour and Lord, He brings you into sonship. Jesus has done something for you but the Holy Ghost makes it real. It is the communion (2 Corinthians 13:14) of the Holy Spirit that ushers in the reality of what Jesus has done.
Jesus Christ is Lord over the church, the Holy Spirit is Lord in the church. If you are going to see Jesus demonstrated again in your life, you must allow the Holy Spirit to be the Leader. No one knows what will happen or how God will move, only the Holy Spirit does and He has been given to us; not that we lead Him but that He leads us.
Until the Holy Spirit becomes The Leader in your life (or in the church), Jesus is irrelevant, even though He is your Lord. If we don t know the Holy Ghost we will lose many battles.
2 Corinthians 3:17 is better read in the original text as, Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit is Lord, there is Liberty . If the Spirit is not Lord, even though you are baptised in the Spirit, you can be in bondage and suffer losses. HE WANTS TO BE THE LEADER IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE. Tomorrow we will pick up from here. Make up your mind to surrender leadership to the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER: Lord, I totally surrender the leadership of my life to the Holy Ghost, come and take total and complete charge in Jesus name, Amen.
