“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and added no sorrow with it.”
We will continue today as we look closely at the power of the blessing. As you progress in your Christian walk, you must refuse to let anything lure you out of the things that connect you to the blessing.
Most crucial to cultivating the blessed life is understanding the place of the leading and the direction of the Holy Spirit.
The blessing is a force by law, and it makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. Rich is inferior to the blessing, for there are many things that a rich man will want to buy, though he has money, he will not be able to buy them, but a blessed man is not like that. For example, it is not everyone that money means something to, but when you carry the blessing, what people will not sell for money they would be able to give you out of love.
The life of the blessed does not mean you are without means; it simply means that you will acquire things in a way different from the person that has only money. That is God’s plan for you as His child. Riches only move earthly things while the blessing moves both earthly and heavenly things. The blessing serves as a routing device for every good in an area to come towards you and it is always a higher force that operates on anyone that carries it.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for blessing me. Help me to grow daily in my understanding of the blessing in Jesus’ Name.
