It will help you to fight the opposition well.

When you have a sense of destiny, you will easily handle the ignorance and the ridicule of men. There are people that are just ignorant of your destiny. Such people will fight you, mock you or ridicule you. In spite of that, a sense of destiny equips you to give your best to your course. It establishes you in the truth and not get carried away with the mockery and persecution of men and of the devil. You are able to fight every assault of hell against your destiny and come out triumphantly.

You will handle your work as one that will give account (1Cor.5:10).

In Hebrews 13:17, the bible tells Christians to let their pastors do their work well “as they that must give account”. Once you are sure that God located you in a church, and you are convinced the pastor is capable of equipping you for destiny, then you are bound to give account of how you followed him and what you did with the assignment he gave you (1Cor 12:18). You must find out where God has set you and what He has sent you to do because every member of the body is a member by function, not just by their own desire. Every equipment, ability, grace and uniqueness of the part of a human body is there because of the function that part of the body is to perform. This shows that you are unique and your uniqueness is rooted in your assignment and your function in the body of Christ.

A sense of divine destiny makes you serious with your task and assignment knowing that you will give account to the giver of life. May your life be the one that provokes rewards and not regret on the day of reckoning in Jesus name.

Prayer: Father, I pray that you will baptize me with a sense of destiny so as to run a good race in life and destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen.
