I started yesterday by looking at facts about the moves of God, so as to connect us accurately to the move of God in our day. You must understand that it is the move of God that exempts us from the move of the devil. Today I will continue by considering facts on the moves of God.
There are personalities involved in every move that you must recognize:
•Those that the move is for; this could be a single person or a group of people,
•Those that are agents of the move
If a move is for you and you miss it, what happens is that you require another move to catch up; else you become irrelevant and end up lesser than the destiny planned for you. In the original move of God for the human race, it was the nation of Israel that God wanted to use to take Him to the world but they missed it, so God came to the Gentiles. He has not abandoned them but the original plan He had for them is not going to happen for them. They are still His people but God came to the Gentiles. In the move of God that started after the Lord Jesus Christ went to heaven, Simon Peter was the central figure that God planned that the church moves would be released through majorly. If you look through the Acts of the Apostles, chapters one to three, you will find that when they received the Holy Ghost baptism, Peter was the central figure up to chapters 8 and 9 and that was when he saw a vision of a sheet let down from heaven with all kinds of animals on it and the Lord said, “Arise, kill and eat, Peter” but he said, “not so Lord, I have never eaten anything unclean” and the Lord said, “don’t call unclean what the Lord has sanctified.” That happened three times and he refused to change his mind, so the sheet was taken back to heaven. From Acts 13, the focus changed to Paul. When you are rigid, you miss the move of God.
God does not judge people based on their actions, He judges based on their heart. Somebody’s action may not be palatable but his heart might be okay. Somebody’s action might be okay but the state of his heart may be wrong. God came for and chose Paul. Through Apostle Paul, the move of God to the gentile world came. So, we gentiles are a product of the move that came through Paul not a product of the move that came through Peter because Peter missed the conclusion of the move that had him as the central figure. May the Lord sensitize your spirit to your role in every move of God in Jesus’ name.
