The spirit of poverty exists to show you wrong things; the spirit of prosperity exists to show you what is there that others have not seen. So begin to develop those things that will help the spirit of prosperity to gain a stronger hold on your life. One spirit wants to possess our life: either the spirit of prosperity or the spirit of poverty. May you not hand over the spirit of poverty to your children? May you raise children that understand that God gave each man potentials and ability to succeed.

You don’t need another man’s permission to succeed. God already gave you the permission to succeed. God will hold you responsible according to the ability he supplied to you. Paul says I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. He didn’t say I can do all things because the Roman Empire was in power. He did not say “who” but “which”. Whenever you come across the word Christ in the bible, it is talking about Jesus Christ and his anointing and the context tells if it is Jesus the person or the anointing as a force. In Philippians 4:19, it is talking of the anointing as a force; a functioning power.

There is a force that God gives you that strengthens you, that gives you an empowerment to dominate your environment. You can come from a family of failures and be the first person to succeed because you carry a different spirit. God said concerning Caleb that none of the people that spied the land will enter the Promised Land except my servant Caleb because he has a different spirit (Numbers 14:24). You must carry a different spirit from your natural father if you are going to have a different experience from that of your father. You must have a different spirit from those in your environment if you are going to have a different manifestation and that is what God supplies. God brings us in contact with the anointing so as to put His spirit on us. Don’t function in life without the Spirit of prosperity, it will beautify your experience and give you God’s outcome.

Prayer: Lord, I choose today to develop attitudes that will empower the spirit of prosperity in my life. I receive eyes to see what others overlook in Jesus’ name. Amen.
