Taking the wings of the morning is one of the obscure statements in the Bible. Some of those obscure statements are fertile grounds for occult minds to pick subjects which confuse and deceive people to do wrong things. If we don’t allow the Holy Spirit to open some of these statements to us, we may assume that the devil has more power than he actually does.

We must ask ourselves some questions:

1.Does the morning have wings?

2.If it does, can we take it?

3.What does it mean to take the wings of the morning?

The morning time refers to

•early hours of the day,

•early years of a person’s life.

To take the wings of the morning means:

1.To soar through life: Wing is associated with flight; human beings use feet to walk, but birds use wings to fly. The Bible did not talk of the feet of the morning, but the wings of the morning. The morning time presents us with opportunities to take advantages that will put us ahead. It means that you can determine your speed and your altitude for the day and for your life.

2.To rise above the ashes of every disappointment of yesterday.

3.To put the past behind you.

4.Taking the wings of the morning implies that God is saying, “My child, it’s a new day, let’s go.”

5.It is time to leave the success of yesterday behind you. Don’t dwell on it.

6.God is saying, “You can choose your height in life, you can dwell in the low plane or you can rise to the high lands.

The Bible says in Col.3:1-2.

1. “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth”.

Whatever you seek will determine what you become in life.

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to pursue the things that God has for me early in the morning each day, and early in my life; I decree an end to every operation of the devil to steal divine deposits from my morning in Jesus’ name. Amen.
