When crossing from the supernatural side to the natural, the wise Christian will dig into the relevant knowledge there, but the first thing is to get the supernatural in place.

The spirit of poverty has a plan to deprive you of anything that is critical to your completing and fulfilling the assignment of God for your life. This spirit is the direct opposite of Philippians 4:19. While God supplies, the spirit of poverty drains. The spirit of poverty gives a man a mistress instead of a wife. The goal of the spirit of poverty is not to keep things from you but to keep you from doing the will of God.

My goal of being free is not just to be free from the spirit of poverty so that I can have the things that I want, but to do the will of God without hindrance. You should plan for the future in this realm while waiting for the rapture. It seems the more people get sophisticated, the lesser they seek for critical knowledge. You must pursue critical knowledge.

The reason God starts you small is for you to know how to abase. Abasing is for crisis days; it is not suffering humiliatingly, it is a knowing that although we may not have the fullness of God in manifestation now, we will soon rejoice in the fullness. It is having a mind set that is so positive such that it affects the people and things around you.

On the other hand, learning how to abound is for those seasons of life that you must enjoy the goodness of God without feeling guilty. When there is crisis time, that is not when to abound; it is the responsibility of those that are in the abounding season to provide for those that have to abase. When you have to leave your season of abasement, you should leave with a testimony of being a true ambassador of Christ.

We must learn how to abase and know when to abound. When you abase in the season of your abounding, you will do so at the expense of your life. God has a plan for you and as a child of God, you must find out your season from Him. What God wants you to do is supernatural and it will take your spirit, emotions, body and all that you have to bring it into manifestation in the natural.

Prayer: Lord, I receive the grace and the spirit of wisdom to abound and abase according to the different seasons of life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
