In life, every man that wants to be accurate needs to know his father. A father is the spiritual man in your life that does not tolerate failure. He does not condone what others condone. He sees what others don’t see. He has a revelation of you in destiny. He is concerned about your future. He is the man of God in your life and that is why you are like an arrow in his hands.

A father is the mighty man described in our text. He has arrows in his quiver. Arrows are usually at the back of the mighty man. Arrows are tools of war. Arrows are trained agents against enemies. The handling of an arrow requires the skill of a father, otherwise it will damage the wrong target. When properly shot, an arrow (son) gets to its target; it is never behind schedule. An arrow will never be behind in life. He does the things he ought to do and gets fulfilled at the right timing.

An arrow, no matter how sharp or powerful it is, cannot release itself. A father is the one that releases an arrow (a son) into his destiny in accuracy in order for him to get to his destiny’s target.

Who has God chosen or set in your life to aim you? Two men largely affect you: your natural father and your destiny (spiritual) father. The targets we hit are influenced by them. When there is accuracy, many things are done in a shorter time. A lot of men have died before their time because they were inaccurate in making decisions or misguided. No matter how much you claim to know, you still need a father in your life.

Prayer: Lord, I receive my father today in this kingdom. I will not be a vagabond but a son (arrow) in his hands, so that as he shoots me in life I will accurately hit my destiny’s target in Jesus’ name. Amen.
