One of the major tools that God uses to connect His people to divine positive change is instruction. God is the God of instruction.  His actions and divine operations among men many times are connected to instructions. When God gives you an instruction and it is clear to you, go ahead and obey it.  If you are not clear about any instruction of God, clarify from those who know the Lord, especially your pastor. The instructions of God to His children are commands and they are not subject to deliberations or negotiations.  You will either obey it or leave it.  If God can help you to master obedience to His instructions, the sky will be your starting point.  Principally, God gives His instructions to us:

i.Through His written word, that is the bible

ii.Through His called servants that, He has given to us as gifts and leaders (Ephesians 4: 8 – 14)

iii.Through prophetic operations of the Holy ghost in us (1Corinthians 2: 9 -13)

iv.The Holy spirit of God in you (Romans 8:16)

If you ever get to a point in life that you do not know what to do, you must know who has the word of Life for your life and go to him. You must understand two things from the bible.

1.God will not speak to you directly over all issues of your life all the time.  There are times that He will give somebody else especially your Pastor, a word for you, and you must be humble to receive it from him (Hebrews 2: 1 -3).

2.In the time of crisis, it is not faith you need, you need the intervention of the anointing or power of God.  A crisis time is always a time of trouble and can consume a man if care is not taken. In some situations, it has led to long term damages or pains for people. When you are confronted with such situation, the anointing of God must be activated on your behalf (2 Kings 6:1-7).

This widow woman in 2 King 4:1-7 went to Elisha, the prophet gave her some set of instructions.

i.Go borrow empty vessels, not a few

ii.Shut the door upon thee and thy sons and pour the oil

She poured oil into all the borrowed vessels and then the oil stayed!  The oil did not finish, it stopped. The power, grace, provision, divine assistance, intervention of God cannot finish; but it can stop. To what extent are you obeying the instructions of God? Do not forget that the inputs of God into a man’s life will stop where his obedience to divine instruction stops.  God bless you.

Prayer: Lord, help me to learn obedience to your word and never to stop in my obedience to your divine instructions all my life in Jesus name. Amen.
