DIVINE POSITIVE CHANGE - 1 CORINTHIANS 3:8

The God of the Bible is a God of changes.  He is a God that desires to see His people move from one level of glory to another level of glory. When you come to know the Lord, your journey from that point should be upward and forward.  For you as a child of God, your changes are supposed to be divine positive changes.  It does not matter whatever level of life you are now and what you are currently going through, if you believe God, do your part and wait for the Lord, your desired positive change will surely come.

When a man gives his life to Christ, he is transformed from the power of darkness; he crosses from being a child of the devil and candidate of hell to being a child of God and candidate of heaven. This is the first positive change that can happen to any man and it is the best. Let me show you this morning two things that divine positive changes are connected to.

1. A word from the Lord Isaiah 50:1-11: For a true and authentic change to happen for you in life, it will be connected to a word from the Lord.  God said that when He sends His word into your life, it will not return until it has produced the God- desired change in your life.

A word from the Lord can come to you: as a personal revelation from God’s word, a prophetic word from a servant of God, a prophetic revelation from God, or a written promise of God.

Get yourself acquainted to the word of the Lord. Read it, study it, meditate on it, understand it, hear it, pray it, say it and apply it to all areas of your life.  Ezekiel the prophet was instructed by the Lord to prophecy upon the dry bones and there were changes of a positive kind (Ezekiel 37).

2. A man from the Lord:

When God is about to bring a positive change to His people, sometimes it is a man that carries the power of change that He will send to them. God is a God that lives Himself in men to do things for men. He will not come down physically to do anything for you; He will send a man to you.  It could be an anointed servant of God, or a man that He has raised to help you. Isaiah 32:1-15, in verse 15 says “Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness shall be formed into a fruitful field and the fruitful field be turned into a highly forest”. If you read that passage critically, you will discover that verse 15 is connected to a man sent from God in verse 2.  Beloved, have you met the man sent to you from God?

When Jesus rose up in the garden where He was buried, Mary Magdalene saw Him and called Him gardener! She took her savior for a gardener, may you not mistake your savior for a gardener in Jesus name (John 20:15).

Prayer: Lord, every man, be it my anointed servant or other men that my divine change is connected to, I receive a divine linkage to them in Jesus’ name. Amen.
