I want to show you this morning the functions of a destiny father. The understanding of these functions will help you position yourself well around the father to receive the very best that God has kept for you in him.

1. Your destiny father will help you to identify the hidden destinies in you: Not every eye can see what is hidden in the lives of people. Many times, we make mistakes about one another because as human beings we tend to rate each other on what is obvious whereas the hidden destiny is not obvious to everyone. It is the anointed eyes that can see hidden destinies. So, one of the first marks of a destiny father is that divine and supernatural ability to see hidden destinies inside people and anyone who does not see the hidden destinies in you most likely will not believe in you and your future. He cannot work to contribute towards your future.

It is possible for problem and purpose to be present in the life of a person at the same time and it takes the eyes of a destiny father to see beyond the problem to the purpose in that person’s life.

Every relationship that you have must be making you something every day; it must be contributing and depositing something into the bank of your destiny, on the spiritual side.

2.A destiny father name things after their destiny and not after his emotions:

Look at the book of Genesis Chapter 35: 16-18. When Benjamin was born, his mother called him the son of my sorrows, but Jacob rejected it and called him Benjamin which means the son of my right hand. Two people named him differently. The mother died at childbirth and she named him after that experience. Most people name children after their immediate circumstances. Out of that correct re-naming of Benjamin came the first king of Israel. Paul the Apostle was also from that tribe. It is amazing, also, to notice that the same person can mean two different things to two different people. You must relate with people that will call you after the name of your destiny, not after the name of your problem, mistake or negative circumstance. You must gravitate towards people that are anointed to name you correctly in your destiny and after your destiny. God bless you.

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to receive everything you have reserved for me in my destiny Father in Jesus’ name. Amen.
