Many people today are becoming lesser than God planed for them because they are not staying where God wants them to stay to be fathered into destiny. Many people behave like Naaman, the captain of the host of Syria. God said to him through Elisha the prophet, “go and dip in river Jordan seven times”, he said “no, is river Apava not better than river Jordan?” It was actually not water that Naaman needed, he needed obedience to the divine commandment. A person that will be a kingdom star must not be thinking of going where he will be celebrated, he must go where he will be formed and shaped by the mighty hand of God; where he’s prepared and released for destiny.

Your earthly father is not the same as your elder brother at home. Your elder brother may be celebrating you, but your earthly father is concerned with where you are going in life. As Christians, we don’t just look for our comfort; we must continually look for the will of God. Your destiny father is more committed to the will of God for your life than your comfort. Anybody that is more committed to your comfort than the will of God for your life is not your destiny father and will not help you ultimately the way your destiny father will help you.

When Jesus said He was going to the cross to die, Peter said “far be it from you” and Jesus said “get thee behind me Satan”. He called Peter Satan; he said “because you savour the things of men and not the things of God”. What Peter was saying is, “Oh the will of God is too hard for you, don’t take that road”.

The way God will raise a major minister will be different from the way He will raise someone that will be a businessman as a Christian. Becoming a queen was a platform for Esther, but operating as a saviour of the Jewish race was her destiny. Joseph becoming a prime minister was a platform, but being a saviour was the destiny. Daniel becoming the president of Babylon was a platform, but being a prophet and prophesying was his destiny. If you get a platform without fulfilling destiny, you are a failure. But if you have a true destiny father, he will help you to prepare for the platform and also help you connect your platform to your purpose.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that you will help me not to promote my personal comfort above the will of God for my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
