THE POWER OF DIVINE CHOICE - I CHRONICLES 28:1-21

God has chosen every saint of his to accomplish some things for Him. There is something you and I have been chosen from the foundation of the earth to accomplish for the Lord. Not only will men account for what they have done in the body on the last day, people will also account for what they did with the choice of God over their lives. That you did not know what God has chosen you for does not mean you do not have the choice of the Lord over your life and you will do yourself well, if you seek the face of God to know what He has chosen you to accomplish for him on the planet earth. Until you know this and you give yourself to it, you will never know your true identity from the Lord; you will continually be like a round peg inside a square hole.

The first thing I will like to establish for you today is that God has chosen you to accomplish something specific for Him (John 16:16, 2 Chronicles 29: 11).

You are not a product of biological accident. Your coming to the world is not a product of human mistake and you are an original design in the hand of God. Your parent might even have told you that they made a mistake having you, but beloved, God does not make mistakes. God is a deliberate God; He does everything on purpose. Look at the examples of the following people in the bible

i. God choose Jeremiah to be a prophet (Jeremiah 1:1 -5)

ii. God choose Jerusalem as the city of His habitation

iii. Saul of Tarsus who later became Paul was called a chosen vessel by the Lord to bear the name of the Lord before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel (Acts 9:15)

iii.Solomon was chosen to be king among the sons of David. (1Chronicles 28: 1 -8)

iv.Virgin Mary was chosen to carry the pregnancy of the Messiah

Beloved, what has God chosen you for and how close are you to it? Have you unraveled it? Are you walking in it and training towards accomplishing it? May you not live a wasted life on the earth in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, I ask for the baptism of the awareness of your divine choice and program for my life and the conscious practical steps to take into accomplishing it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
