God has some thoughts concerning you. Naturally, you do not know the thoughts that God is thinking towards you and you may not be thinking of it yourself. God is not thinking of doing you evil, He is thinking of doing you good and you may want to ask what kind of good is He thinking of? It is to give you an expected end. God is thinking constantly on how to bring into manifestation the end that he has planned for you. Our God is the God of positive ending. He is not just interested in giving you an end in life; He wants to give you what the Bible calls an expected end. It is not the end you are expecting for yourself, but the end that God in His infinite mercies is expecting concerning you. God has some expectations over your life and they are positive expectations.

The force of expectation is a very powerful force in the spirit and you must understand it carefully. I want you to know it today that whatever you are expecting will surely come to pass. If you expect it, you will get it and if you are not expecting it, you will not get it. If you will be all that God wants you to be in life, you must not just believe God for His promises in your life, you must begin to consciously expect those promises. There is a supernatural force that draws whatever you are expecting towards you. Proverbs 23:18 says, “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Can you see that? The Bible says that your expectation shall not be cut off. So I need to ask you, what are you really expecting in life?

Let me quickly show you the different kinds of expectations the Bible clearly states:

1.The expectation of God.

The expectation of God for your life is based on His eternal program and plan for your life. It is not based on your past, your circumstances, your ancestry, what you have done to yourself and what the devil had done to you in the past. I do tell people regularly that, “God can do more in your future than what the devil had done in your past”. God is a redemptive God and all His actions towards His creations, especially men are redemptive in nature.  If you will cooperate with God and follow Him, He can still work out His original intention and expectation over your life.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that you help me live in understanding of your thoughts and expectations towards me, all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
