APPOINTMENT, RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY - JEREMIAH 1:5

Share

What are the things you will give account of to God? God has appointed you a divine destiny, just as everyone has been appointed but you have the responsibility to fulfil it and on the final day, when you stand before the Father, you will give account of it. Even if you deny your appointment or abdicate your responsibility, you cannot transfer your accountability.

For example, if you are appointed the facilities manager who, among other things, is to ensure the church is swept and on this fateful day, you asked a friend to clean the church but your friend forgot and you didn’t check if he did. The consequences of that failure cannot rest on your friend because you were the one appointed.

Many Christians transfer their responsibilities to others but no one ever told them they will need to give account very soon. People give different kinds of reasons for abdicating divine appointment. We have come to know that people will always find time for what is important to them; therefore, when someone says:“I’m sorry, I don’t have time”, what he is saying is that:“I want to give my time to something else.” NO ONE CAN SUCCEED ON CREDIT because at the counter of life’s success, you will have to pay in full and in advance.

Take responsibility today because you are the one to determine how much of what God has designed for your life that will manifest.

PRAYERLord, I receive grace to fill the measure of what I have been appointed to do as a leader in Jesus’ name. Amen!
