One of the purposes of signs and wonders is to draw your attention to the person of God so that He can connect you to your calling and destiny. When God told Moses, “draw not nigh hither, put off thy shoes from off thy feet for the place where on thou standeth is holy ground”, the first lesson He taught him through the experience was that the calling and assignment that I am calling you into is a holy ground.
The call of God upon your life must be holy to you all the days of your life. Never trivialize your calling. If you clean the church or sing or teach children, do it with reverence for God. God called the mother of John Wesley to raise her children for Him. She treated it with the reverence it deserved and today she is reaping the rewards arising from the global generational ministry that they fulfilled.
Don’t ever think little of your calling. If you are assigned by God to be an intercessor for a minister of God, stay there and let it be holy unto you. It may not be holy unto any other person, people may disparage it, but before God you are doing something very significant. Many people abandon or exchange their call because they did not allow it to be a Holy ground unto them, hence they don’t get this blessing.
Don’t walk on the ground of your calling anyhow.
PRAYER: Lord, help me rediscover the sacredness of your call. I will not despise Your call upon my life or in the life of others in Jesus’ name. Amen.
