BE AVAILABLE TO ACQUIRE ABILITY FOR LEADERSHIP LIFE - I CORINTHIANS 10:13

If you lack ability, you must be available somewhere to get it. . Every ability that you need is being supplied somewhere. For leaders who are either in leadership roles or in a positions of authority, you cannot function better than the ability you’ve got and there is no limit to ability.

What God is saying from our passage is that He will supply ability; God is responsible for the supply of ability on the earth. You must be available where the ability you need to function better is being supplied if you will acquire that ability. If you are not available where the ability is being supplied, you will definitely be available when the test comes. In church generally, people are supplied with spiritual abilities. So, if you are not available, there will come a day when a test comes in that area where you should have acquired ability. One of the saddest statements a man can make is, “I should have....” And I want you to take note of it.

You will always know people who value title more than the life that the title requires. Such people won’t be available where ability is being supplied, so they keep looking for short cuts. A wise man seeks after knowledge, skills and ability. I encourage you to seek to have abilities, don’t wait until you have something that you lack ability for before you begin to acquire that ability. If you do, you will lose a lot of time in the process and you will pay to get that ability.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for sensitivity to timing and grace to make myself available when ability is being supplied.
