THE TWO TENDENCIES IN EVERY HUMAN {LUKE 22:25-26, MATTHEW 20:26,28}

What a leader gives is something that cannot be seen but can be felt. You probably know what unique value a doctor adds; you also know what a lawyer offers you and what an architect does for you. May I ask you, “What does a leader offer uniquely? Why do we need leaders? Why does a society need leaders?” IN SIMPLE TERMS, WE NEED LEADERS TO TAKE US FURTHER.

The truth is that no matter who you are; you can never reach your peak unless you are receiving ministry from a leader. Leaders supply purpose to everything that we have, they harness our resources and propel us further.

There are two tendencies of creation inside everybody: a tendency to lead and a tendency to follow. The first tendency that is activated is the tendency to follow and if such was ministered to by a good and sound leader, that tendency will grow to a point that will trigger the tendency to lead. And then you begin to crave to lead; you can’t be a good follower and remain a good follower. If you are a good follower, there will come a time that you would want to lead.

When the tendency to lead is properly activated, it triggers a higher dimension of the first tendency to follow where you understand what leadership does to people. Then, you begin to crave for a leader over yourself.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for a submissive and a contrite heart that follows and leads in the kingdom pattern in Jesus’ name. Amen!
