DON’T APPLY THE FORCE OF YOUR DESTINY IN THE WRONG PURSUIT [Galatians 1:13-18]

You need to understand that if you release the force of your destiny in pursuits different from your destiny, you may succeed above your contemporaries but you’ll still be far from your divine destiny. The force of divine destiny brings energy into your life that nothing in this world can compete with.

There is a divinely implanted sense in every human being and that sense, like a living fire, tries to hook your desire to God’s purpose for your life. For me, it hooked my desire to the things of God. As a young boy, I wanted to be a Catholic Father but God planned that I be a pastor. If I had gone that route, I would not have married my wife and the ministry both of us are fulfilling would not have happened. On the other hand, some men had married several wives before discovering God's plan for them in ministry.

The devil is a master at damaging people's destinies with wrong passions. A man eventually finds his way into ministry but he has developed a lifestyle that is in opposition to his purpose. The devil will do all he can to pile liabilities into your life before you become aware of God’s purpose for your life. That is why salvation is the entry point where you cross over from the devil’s rule to the kingdom of God. This is why parents must labour to teach their children the way of the Lord early so that the devil does not waste their substance like rusted metal.

PRAYER: Lord, I refuse to waste your donations in my life on the wrong things. Deliver me from wrong passions in Jesus’ name.
