A CALL TO WORSHIP (3) [JOHN 4:21-24; 2 CHRONICLES 16:9]

The main goal of the devil is to distract you from acceptable worship. Believers who will worship God in spirit and in truth must not worship God the way they feel like. The woman by the well had fallen for the age-long trap of worshipping God the way she had seen her forefathers do it, but Jesus was quick to point her attention to acceptable worship.

To worship God in spirit and in truth, you need to understand what He has defined as worship and embrace it without question or else, your worship may not be acceptable before the Father. While we may worship by singing songs during a formal gathering on Sunday, the complete definition of worship has ten (10) components attached to it. It is my prayer that at the end of this month, you will assess yourself based on those ten (10) components of worship. There is a higher level of divine participation that you will not see in your life until you get the matter of worship correct. The eyes of God are looking to and fro throughout all the earth, looking for those whose hearts are perfect towards His holy name; single-minded people, focused on God, determined to do His will and His pleasure, wanting to be all for Him.

When God finds anyone with a heart like this, He channels His beauty, His glory and His provision into your life. Be the man or woman that God will never overlook because your life pleases Him. Let your family be one that God will never bypass because you worship Him acceptably privately and publicly.

PRAYER: Father, create in me a true heart and a right spirit. I embrace true worship in secret and in the open in Jesus’ name.
