Welcome to the new year. We wrapped up last year with series of studies on the person of the Holy Spirit. We cannot fully explore His personality and His ministry in our lives, that is why I want to start off the year with you by taking you through another series on HIM, show you some facts about the anointing within you and also walk you through some practical steps to enhance your relationship with the Lord this year.
The joyful sound in Psalm 89:15 is the sound of the Holy Spirit. When you know Him, you will always walk in the salvation of God and never be trapped by the devil. Every time the Holy Ghost leads a man, He leads him into joy ultimately.
In Romans 8: 14 the Bible says that as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. This scripture did not say that Christians who do not know how to be led by the Spirit of God are not sons of God, but the full meaning of that passage is that, it is only those that are being led by the Spirit of God that will be full beneficiaries.
Jesus became all He was because he submitted the leadership to the Holy Spirit. The first thing that He settled before starting His ministry was who was going to lead between Him and the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in Matthew 4 that He was led by the Holy Ghost into the wilderness. If Jesus our master conceded leadership to the Holy Spirit while He was here physically, we must do the same.
Holy Spirit, as I go this year, I submit leadership to you totally. Take the driver’s seat in Jesus’ name. Amen
