In the book of Genesis 3, the beginning of the problem of man came with a negative source of knowledge coming into the affairs of mankind. In Genesis 3:7-11, the devil came to tempt the woman. “And the serpent said unto the woman, you shall not surely die,” God said she shall surely die. The serpent said in verse 5, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil”.

Note that in verse 11, God said, “Who told thee thou wast naked?” The issue with the child of God is not “what”, but “who”. God simply asked them where they got their information from. Up till this moment, they had depended solely on God as their source of information. What God told them was true, but then suddenly, another personality gave them information.

If the devil cannot be your source of information, he wants to be your interpreter. The information and the interpretation of the information are so crucial to the effect and the manifestation of your faith. Your faith is the substance of your spirit, it is a force inside you that is given you by God to create a way for you in life, connect you to the supernatural realm of God, the realm of the anointing and the realm where everything is possible, while fear connects you to the realm of destruction where things are not possible.

PRAYER: Lord, I repent of not handling information correctly in my life. I submit to your Lordship for a release of your glory in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
