The devil knows that God’s word will result into greatness for you if you receive it, believe it, confess it, work it, and act on it and he wants to hinder that. There are four ways the devil tries to take your word from you.

1. PREVENT YOU FROM HEARING: Faith comes by hearing. Therefore, do all you can to make yourself available to hear God; don’t get distracted from hearing. Be a Mary kind of Christian and not the Martha kind.

2. TWISTING THE WORD: He will try to twist and misinterpret God’s word to you just as he did to Eve in the garden of Eden. Get the word right and don’t get it twisted. God speaks simple enough and it takes the devil to get it twisted for you.

3. LYING ABOUT THE WORD: The devil will try to make you believe a lie about the word. Like making you believe that certain words are only for special people and that you are not qualified. Don’t allow that to happen to you.

4. TRIVIALIZE THE WORD: Don’t let Satan make you trivialize God’s word for you; don’t become familiar. Let your attitude be to receive the word, believe the word, confess the word, work the word, act the word and act on the word.

PRAYER: Lord, I come against every attack of the enemy to rob me of the prosperity and increase that is to flow from your Word. I receive grace to prosper with your word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
