Don’t get into assumptions, be a learner and learn to ask questions from the Holy Spirit. There are some powerful understandings in life that would never have been if no one asked questions, so are some great revelations that would never have come if none asked questions. We would have avoided making terrible mistakes and errors if only we asked questions and didn’t make foolish assumptions.
True learning occurs when you ask questions. When you ask questions, you provoke revelations and your ignorance is not only revealed but also cured. Hosea 4:6a says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” When you ask questions, you stir up the river of knowledge to flow in your direction. Only foolish people conceal their ignorance for fear of being looked down upon. A major make of the wise is their ability to ask questions.
The Holy Spirit is always ready to supply answers to you when you ask Him the right questions. Even Jesus as a twelve-year-old child asked questions from the teachers of the law. Don’t ever be ashamed of asking questions. Know this; no question is foolish; it rather stops you from continuing in foolishness.
So, I want to ask you, what questions do you have in your mind that you are either too timid or too proud to ask? Ask them NOW and you can be sure of answers of peace. The lowest level of knowledge is assumption- don’t assume that you know.
PRAYER: Lord, I refuse to continue in ignorance and assumptions in life, I come against every form of folly and I receive answers to questions in Jesus’ name. Amen.
