Correct service: In any father’s house there are two things available: goods and services. The way to develop a prodigal heart is to reject serving and chase after the goods. A child that chose not to or is not allowed by his/her parents to serve at home will develop a prodigal heart inadvertently. God’s pattern is to make you first before He gives you. He makes you a wife first before giving you a husband; He makes you a father or a mother before giving you a child etc.

Learning happens in the place of service. If you focus on goods, you won’t become anything and it will not make you respect wisdom even when it is starring you in the face. If you will enter into the portion of your destiny, you must come to the point where you serve consciously. There are some things you won’t know until someone sends you on errand and if you only do it when you are forced to, you won’t learn anything. You learn when you do so willingly. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land. Is. 1:19

The way to know if you have substance in life is by finding out who you served. God is going to put you somewhere to serve for you to become something for Him. Elisha was described as the one who poured water on the hands of Elijah. His credibility as a prophet of the Lord was based on a confirmation of his service record (2 Kings 3:11-12). We knew who he served and he served to a double portion of the anointing. Service is what makes you!

People that focus on their rights and not their responsibilities become dangerous entitled people. If you set your sights on the goods, you are not likely to get a lot of good things and you will be a slave of goods, but if you focus on the service, you will become somebody that the goods of life will answer to. God is more concerned with what and who you are becoming than what you have. Find the right person and right system to serve and don’t say they are using me. If you have the right vision, nobody can use you, the vision will make you.

Seed: There are two things you must deal with under this key:

(a) You must sow the word of God into your heart constantly and continuously (the truths of the kingdom, the laws of God, and the principles of God). It will be a tree of righteousness producing fruits of joy, glory and beauty to God. Read Psalm 119:1-end. Your heart is a farm land; don’t let the devil sow seeds into your heart.

(b) You use your seed to acquire everything you need to get in this kingdom. You are a walking bag of seeds. Your time can be a seed. You also have other seeds like materials and money.

What you spend money on will show how wise you are. Use the things that money can buy to acquire the things that money cannot buy because in the things of your destiny, what will take you to the throne are the things that money cannot buy. You need things that money can buy and things that money cannot buy. For example, money can buy a house for you but it cannot give you the love and respect of your wife and for that house to be a good home, you must get the love and respect of your wife and children.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace not to be less than what the hand of the Lord drew up for me. Show me every service and seed I have to sow that will connect me to my destiny portion on the earth in Jesus’ name. Amen.
