There are different pressures in life. You need to ask yourself whether you are under the pressure of success and the pressure of progress or the pressure of problem. Every time you are promoted or elevated there will be pressures. You must understand that there are privileges that go with promotion and every new level comes with new and higher pressure. You should regularly ask for grace, wisdom and enlarged capacity to handle the pressure of progress. Nobody desires the pressure of struggles and problem. It wears you out and makes you grow older before your time.
Pressures are part of life. The pressure of problem destroys people. There was a time when the Israelites were in Egypt and they had the pressure of slavery tearing them apart but when they were free they had some pressure of freedom but they misused it by requesting that Moses take them back to Egypt. This is simply an abuse and misuse of pressure. There are certain problems that are only associated with rich people, You don’t ask the man on foot about his car, he may not have the pressure of maintaining a car but he already has the pressure of walking on his foot. Will you prefer to walk on foot than to have a car?
There are some good problems, may the Lord bless you with some good problems and may He grant you the grace and wisdom to handle them in Jesus’ name. You must never follow in the footsteps of the Israelites who used their mouth to return themselves into slavery and regain the pressure of problem. Every promotion comes with more work and different work, expect good pressure in life. The level of your pressure is a measure of the level of your progress. You can only borrow to the level of your blessing, just as a brother trading with 50,000 Naira cannot request for a bank loan of 50Million Naira. The person that will request for such loan will be doing business at that level as well, which is a good problem.
God is warning you today; do not use your mouth to move yourself from the pressure of progress to the pressure of problem. Enlarge your capacity and receive grace to take the pressure of progress and become the better you
PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace and wisdom to handle the pressure of progress and become better in Jesus’ name. Amen.
