Today, I want to conclude on things that will not allow a man to finish his race. I believe God will point out some things to you personally, please pay attention to them.
One of the weapons the enemy uses to stop men of great destiny is the weapon of fear. Fear of failure, fear of what people will say, and fear of the unknown. Beloved, if you will reach your destination in God, you must get rid of fear. Fear is not of God, it is of the devil. The scripture says that God has not given us the spirit of fear. If you study the scripture very well, you will discover that whenever God or His servants are commissioning men into assignments, one of the things they tell them is “fear not”. Fear will not allow you to start at all. If you have a business idea that God has given you, a calling or a certain assignment in life you need to develop courage. Courage is doing what is right even when you are afraid. Take a first step of faith in the direction of that calling, assignment or project today and you’ll soon discover that what you are afraid of is also afraid of you. (Is 41:10 – 20, 1 Chron. 28:20, Josh 1:1 –8)
Disobedience is knowing the will of God and not being willing to do it. Anywhere you find an instruction of God in your, life obey it. Make sure you are not practicing selective obedience – it still amounts to disobedience. As great as the destiny of Saul, the first King of Israel, was, disobedience to the will of God finished him. Do not go on that road.
God will not give you an assignment that is equal to your power, instead He will give you power that is equal to your assignment. Whatever role God has called you to play in life, believe him to help you accomplish it. Israel did not enter their inheritance because of unbelief (Heb 3:12 – Heb 4:11). Don’t forget that without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb 11:6). A doubter cannot receive anything from God.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace for courage to accomplish Your purpose for me in life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
