We will continue from where we stopped yesterday on the things that will not allow a man to finish his race.

SIN

God loves all of His children but He has a deep hatred for sin. In fact, the scripture says that He is of pure eyes that He cannot behold iniquity. If you would enjoy divine participation in your life and want to reach your expected end in God, run away from sin. Sin will charge you more than you can pay, it will hold you longer than you want to stay. The sin of Miriam – the elder sister of Moses the man of God slowed down the entire congregation of the Lord for 7 days. The sin of Achan brought defeat on the entire camp of Israel. Develop a deep love for righteousness and you will enjoy the contributions of God in your life (Heb 1:9, Josh 7).

WRONG RELATIONSHIPS

You cannot determine the kind of people you associate with. However, you have control over your relationships. Be careful who you enter into a relationship with – whether business, spiritual e.t.c. whatever is flowing in the life of your partner will find its way into your own life ultimately. Relationships create a bridge in the spirit between people who are into it. Let God choose the people you will go into relationships with, else you’ll mistake an open trap for an open door. (Joshua 9).

OFFENCES AND UNFORGIVENESS

No matter what people do to you, your destiny will be accomplished under God if you follow Him carefully. Reaching and fulfilling that destiny is enough punishment to those who opposed you. Men may do all kinds of horrible things to you on the road to destiny, but be careful of what you do in return to people. Offence is strong and it has the capacity to stop a man permanently. It stopped John the Baptist and Ahitophel. Get rid of it in your heart.

REGRET

In the journey of life, you do not have the time to mourn over your mistakes. You’ll definitely make mistakes but you must not dwell on them. Learn the lesson that is needed to be learned and move on. God is bigger than your mistakes. You must learn to forgive yourself too.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to love righteousness and hate iniquity in Jesus’ name. Amen.
