Peter did not obey completely; he let down only one net. The lesson here can be applied to every aspect of our lives. When God shows us His plan, He has described what is possible under divine possibilities in your business, career, family, finances, ministry etc. The question you should ask yourself is, “How many lives is God planning to fill through your obedience?” God does not bless us with obedience, obedience is not a blessing or a gift, obedience is a product of human will. How well you obey now determines how fast and how well it happens. Most times when people get around God and they don’t obey God well, they begin to blame God. But, some people are smart enough not to blame God, they blame somebody close to God.
Step out IMMEDIATELY! If God has given you instructions, ministries e.g. secondary school outreach, break the ice and step out immediately. Once you step out immediately, every resources of heaven will meet you on the road: the wisdom, grace etc. Waiting and saying you are not wise enough is the devil’s lie. There’s nothing God planned for you to do that you are wise enough to handle. One mark that what you are doing is not God’s plan for you is that you can handle it alone and you don’t need God. Once you feel like that, you are not doing God’s design. God’s design needs him and some assistance from heaven. It must be bigger than your wisdom and your ability so you will not boast and say, “Well, I did it.”
PRAYER: Lord, show me every area of incomplete obedience in life, work on my life until my physical life becomes a manifestation of the divine design, until my life becomes a designer life, the kind that God designed himself in Jesus’ name. Amen.
