Jesus is Lord!
Rev. Oyenike Areogun
Not everything that men start is usually finished or concluded. God is a finisher and you are born again to be a finisher. There is no abortive spirit in God; that must settle in your Spirit. The devil brings battles against us at these three stages of our lives.
1.The battle to keep you from starting,
2.At the middle of the road and then
3.The battle to keeps you from finishing well.
He is the God of a new beginning, the God of the middle of the road and the God of a positive ending. The end is more powerful than the beginning. The devil concentrates most of its demons at the end of a thing because how a thing ends is how you’ll remember it for life. Are you at the starting battle level? Is it the battle of the middle of the road which is at the stage where you are too far from where you are going and too far from where you started? You can count on His grace and the covenant of His word to carry you through.
When Jesus dealt with the same story in the book of Mark chapter 4, he first of all rebuked the wind and spoke to the sea to be calm because that is the force behind the turbulence. As a believer, you also have that authority to rebuke that turbulence in your life and affairs.
You must know what to do to abortive spirits. In Matthew 14: 24…. “But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary…..” abortive spirits are the demons that are designed to stop you from getting to where you are going. That is demonic resistance and you must resist it so that it doesn’t stop you.
PRAYER: Lord, I take authority over every abortive spirit in my life, I rebuke your operations in the name of Jesus’. Amen..
