WHAT YOU MUST BRING FOR GOD TO WORK WITH 3 - Isaiah 66:1-2, 2 kings 3:11-14

Today, I want you to consider the first thing which I believe is foundational if you will see the doings of the Lord perpetually in your life. We must give Him our hearts, and not just that, we must leave our heart in His hands and let Him work upon it. Bring your heart to a place that He can trust.

Your house is not what attracts God to your life. That means if God enters a town, He is not looking at the structures, there is something else He is looking for and if He doesn’t see it, even if you make your house all of gold, He won’t come in. You know that there are many glorious cathedrals that God doesn’t attend even though they put His name on the front. You can decide to wear all white – white underwear, white dress, white shoes but your heart is still black.

God said in Isa 66:2, “but to this [man] will I look…” On one occasion, a prophet wanted to minister and there were two kings seated before him. One of them was in such a state that God could not move (and he was the one who even invited the prophet). God would not move because of Him (2 kings 3:14) and the prophet said, “your presence is hindering the flow of the anointing”. May your presence not hinder the flow of the anointing. May you be that person that even if people gather together and their presence irritates God, once you step there, God will say, “for your sake I will change my mind.” What is it about that kind of a person? You can say, “I’m better than him. I can do this or that more than him”, but there is always something special about that kind of a person.

Prayer: Lord, purge me of every tendency and capacity that makes the presence of a man irritate God and bless me with your unfolding love in Jesus’ name.
