Now after these things, God tested [the faith and commitment of] Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he answered, “Here I am.”  God said, “Take now your son, your only son [of [a]promise], whom you love, Isaac, and go to the region of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” (Gen 22:1-2 Amplified)

You must know that God will always set a test for you but Satan will always bring temptations. The temptations of the devil are designed to take you away from God, they are designed to embarrass and humiliate you but God’s tests are designed to promote you, make you know how far you have come with God and how ready you are for what God has in mind for you. There is no promotion without tests, with God. You are will not move upward and forward with God if you don’t take tests and pass them, so you might as well tell yourself: “take the test and pass it”. There are divine tests to check how far you have come and how much you have mastered from what he has been trying to teach you.

Once you become a child of God, you are registered in the school of the spirit. God saves us and appears to us at salvation as our Savior, so the best decision a human being can make is to accept Jesus Christ as his savior. For the sinner, the greatest gift is for Jesus Christ to save him or her. Once you become born again, Jesus is no longer a gift to you, he has now become a possession. The greatest gift to a born again Christian is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is the gift of Jesus to the Church; Jesus is the gift of the Father to the world.

After you become born again, you receive a gift from the Father called the Holy Spirit and He steps into your life as a teacher. So from day one that you became born again, you stepped into a school, and you have to find out how well you are doing – are you making progress or not? The tests that you face are designed to move you forward, so if you find out that you keep facing the same kinds of issues consistently after you got born again, it is a sign that you are not doing too well in the school of the spirit. There is no time that you will never have tests while you are here on earth (until you get to heaven), but the tests will be different from one another. There must be some things in your Christian life that you have mastered. There are certain issues in Christianity that if you do not learn when you should, it will be a problem to you throughout your Christian life.

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace to keep passing the tests of the Holy Spirit and qualify for the trust of God in Jesus’ name.
