Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he (Proverbs 29:18)

The journey to the top in anything begins with a vision. To build a house, become married, and become a graduate and get to the top in your career begins with a vision.

“Perish” in the passage above does not necessarily mean dying but wastage. Where there is no vision, there is wastage. As a young lady, if a man comes to you that he wants to marry you, test him by the vision he has for your life because if the man does not have a clear vision for life, he will waste your life. If you marry a man without vision, you will perish. Everything will perish where there is no vision.

If you go to work for an employer that has no vision, you will perish there. That is why you have seen people growing old without going anywhere. Many times, when people say I encountered God, they didn’t encounter God but men because the outstanding manifestation of encounters of God to a man is He communicates His vision for your life to you. When you go to church, what you learn is vision, not banking, science or engineering. You come to church to get God's vision for your life. You come to church to get the spirit to live and the word of God.

Vision is one of the major things you come to church to get. After you have stayed in a particular church for some time, ask yourself, do I see life clearly? Is there a sureness in my spirit about where am headed in life? The journey to the top begins with a vision; show me your vision and I will prophesy your future to you. I pray for you that you will encounter the vision of God for your life in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that you will grant me a divine revelation of the vision you have for my life and future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
